Thousands were evacuated on the outskirts of Indonesia’s capital due to flooding, Monday, February 22, as heavy rains broke the Citarum River embankment.
Thousands of houses in the Bekasi district of the West Java province were submerged in 100 to 250 centimeters of water.
The National Disaster Mitigation Agency said more than 28,000 residents were affected and at least 4,184 were evacuated. (AP)
