As the water levels in the River Avon continue to surge, our floating home, Narrowboat Changing Pace, faces a daunting challenge. The immense pressure exerted by the rising floodwaters causes our beloved narrowboat to lean over, pulled by the ropes connected to the flood poles. The critical issue lies in the fact that the rings securing our ropes are positioned at the top of the flood poles. Unless the ropes are released as the water continues to rise, there is a real risk of Narrowboat Changing Pace being dangerously pulled towards capsizing. 😱🚤
