Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was once the franchise’s highest-selling game and was responsible for ushering in a new age for the IP. First releasing in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and other contemporary platforms of the time. I chose to open this by highlighting the game's financial success because it’s kind of a given when you look back at it almost a decade later, but it was a radical new direction for the series and was also a throwback at the same time. So let’s talk about it!
