⚖️Renew Europe presented a draft report for an EU Mechanism on Democracy, the Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights as there is a growing concern about an escalating rule of law crisis in a number of EU Member States with authoritarian, oligarchic and corrupt practices.

Our rapporteur, Michal Šimečka, said: "The EU can only remain a democratic project if its Member States & their national leaders are democratic!"
