If you have no storage on your bike and need to carry some smaller items a waist pack may fit the bill, This Ogio 450 carries a decent amount of gear and is less hinderance than a backpack. Use it for tools or food and drinks. I found it fitted my 16 ounce (500ml) thermos flask no problem with still enough space for a sandwich and snacks (Thermos not included with pack)
