Through his TED talk, Alex explores the possibilities of youth entrepreneurship and how to better facilitate it in schools.
Despite being only a Grade 11 student at UTS, Alex Chan is already a very accomplished entrepreneur. As a grade 9, he participated in the MaRS Future Leaders Program, which served as the cradle of his first business, Urban Garden Solutions, as well as a launching pad for future enterprising initiatives. Since then he has devoted himself to developing and expanding his second successful business, Plant Décor, while volunteering as an in-school tutor and developing a third business on the side. Alex believes that youth have the capacity to change the world through innovation and entrepreneurship, however we must ask the question: does our current education system prepare us to do so?
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
