Western Australia is set to expand its proof of vaccination requirements in a bid to "move closer to easing border controls".
Premier Mark McGowan says the move will be applied after a temporary policy introduced last year for higher risk venues and events proved successful.
The state is also set to launch a new app today which will make the process of showing vaccination status easier.
Western Australia will begin to implement its safe transition plan from February 5.
