This video tutorial shows the basics of Fiber Hooking - including how to start a strip, how to pull loops up, and how to end a strip.
Fiber Hooking is the art of using a hook to pull strips of yarn and/or fiber through a linen fabric to create a series of loops that result in a pattern. Fiber Hooking is based on, and is very similar to, traditional rug hooking. However, instead of using only strips of wool fabric to create designs, Fiber Hooking incorporates the use of many types of fibers - including silk, cotton, wool, or anything that makes a design great!
Our kits include everything you need to get hooking: the linen foundation with a hand-drawn pattern, detailed, pattern specific instructions, a hook, and all the fiber you need for the design!
You can turn your finished project into anything you want - a bag, a pillow, a wallhanging or a carpet!
