Taking care of an aging parent

Filial piety is a virtue of respect for one's parents, elders, and ancestors.
Because people are more exposed to different cultures and lifestyles around the world, therefore, the perspective of filial piety concept has changed among the younger generation.
In some cases, for some people, this responsibility is too much to handle, where many children have stopped financially and emotionally supporting their parents, often times because lack of money or they live too far away.
Every culture around the world is facing a growing issue of their aging elderly population.
No matter what culture you came from, what we all have today is a much greater number of extremely dependent and bed bounded elderly seniors who live longer than the past, thanks to the innovation of new technology, healthcare, and medicines.
More elderly seniors are entering the nursing home due to the difficulty of finding a busy work-life balance.
