If you watch my channel whatsoever you will know some things about my retro gaming tastes; I love arcade racing games and I love obscure retro games...so put those two things together and...well you get one of Konami's best games ever and one of the best classic arcade games ever...Thrill Drive! Its one of my favorite arcade games of all time and definitely one of the best retro games and a total retro game hidden gem!

Luckily this runs on MAME via MAME emulation so it can be enjoyed by all and if you need a MAME tutorial I have one on my channel....just check the emulation night school playlist!

But its definitely an arcade hidden gem of jank as good luck finding it these days!

I have been trying to find a copy of Thrill Drive to add to my arcade PCB collection for over a year...and I've yet to find one! But apparently ONE VERSION of MAME supports Thrill Drive and if you have a beefy enough processor to handle it...it plays perfectly! And considering it is one of my favorite arcade racing games of all time...total win! Retrogaming gold Jerry!

I own a Konami Viper board that can play Thrill Drive 2...but I have always wanted to play the original Thrill Drive! And now I (and you) can! It's an arcade racing game that has some very high stakes...crash your car and you may just well die in game! It's an action packed retro gaming arcade racer you are basically guaranteed to love...or your non-existent money back.
