Saraswati Puja is celebrated on the fifth day (Panchami Tithi) of the Shukla Paksh of the Hindu month of Magha. This day is also known as Basant Panchmi. Goddess Saraswati is worshiped for knowledge, culture, wisdom, music and art. It is believed that worshiping Goddess Saraswati in the bright fortnight of the month of Magha (fifth day) is of immense importance.
In this video I have captured south kolkata's one of the famous Lake Kalibar Saraswati puja 2024. The main attraction of this puja is their beautiful idol of maa saraswati which is made by the famous sculptor artist Padma Shri Sanatan rudro pal.
