Buy the 390 Adventure X, of the four variants, this is the one that makes the most sense. We're going to ignore the low-seat version mostly because it's a very specific use case and because we believe it's more productive to learn to ride tall bikes than it is to find low-seat, or smaller suspension versions of those bikes – it narrows your choices. First, the SW model has adjustable suspension that can dramatically improve comfort in everyday use, no doubt about it. But it comes with tubed-spoke wheels which as we've said for the Himalayan too, is not something we'd like to deal with. If the SW had an alloy wheel model, we'd be much happier to recommend it. Second, the X is not only massively cheaper, it uses lower spec suspension that is less stiff and that ends up making it more comfortable than the other two models, only the SW can feel better. Third, our strategy would be to buy an X and get used to it while saving money ~Rs 30,000, MotorInc Fam tells us, to eventually replace the forks and rear shock with adjustable units from the SW.
