Before there was the Digimon Card Game there was many different trading card games for Digimon. Digimon Hyper Colosseum, Digimon Digi-Card Battle, the D-Tector cards, the Collectible Card Game, and the Fusion card game. So because of Digimon's rich card game history, they released a set that makes the cards look like the older ones, called the Classic Collection.
