Hey Dr. Drainage here to talk about the NDS Quik-Fix™ expansion repair coupling. The Quik-Fix™ makes repairing a broken pipe much easier. Without the Quik-Fix™, a large section of pipe must be undug so that you can bend the pipe to fix the broken section. With the Quik-Fix™, you simply cut out the broken section and make the repair.
The NDS Quik-Fix™ fits Schedule 40 pipe has a number of built in features that make installation easy. First glue a sch40 coupler onto the end of the piston of the Quik-Fix™. Next, glue the coupling onto the pipe. The cap is removable and can be utilized to service the pipe, for example, if it gets clogged. To finish the installation, expand the repair coupling and glue onto the other end of the pipe.
