1 - A Maze in Corn located 15 km south of Winnipeg in St. Adolphe, is home to the world’s largest snow maze that holds the official Guinness title. As you make your way through the maze, encounter warm-up fire pits and snow sculptures to help navigate the snowy passageways. Other activities on the grounds include a giant snow climbing hill, a sky-high toboggan run, horse-drawn sleigh rides and an ice bar serving hot chocolate for the kids and hot toddies for the parents. 2 - Not too keen on skiing or snowboarding? Experience the thrill of snow tubing at Falcon Ridge Ski Slopes. Once you’ve had your fill of the slopes, head into the charming chalet complete with a huge stone fireplace and the Trail’s End Cafe menu of comfort foods to fill you up for your next run.
3 - Meet the team and get ready for an epic ride through the boreal forest with Wapusk Adventures! Wapusk Adventures is owned and operated by Dave Daley, an accomplished Métis musher whose ancestry provides a cultural framework for the experience.
4 - The Forks is the the most visited spot in Winnipeg for ice skating, by locals and out of towners alike. The Nestaweya Trail is one of the longest and best-maintained skating trails in the world, speckled with creative and thoughtfully designed warming huts. The on-land skating trails and rinks of Arctic Glacier Winter Park that wind throughout the grounds are beautifully lit for nighttime skates, too!
5 - Manitoba’s a prime place to cross-country ski, with groomed trails throughout the province featuring fun dips and dives, and plenty of tough straightaways to get your heart racing. Beaudry Provincial Park is known for its cross-country ski trails, winding through forest and some of the largest cottonwood, basswood and maple trees in the region.
