Unfortunately I'm not Jeremy Clarkson and I won't tear up more than just the Top Gear track in the £160,000 Bentley Continental Supersports.

Nevertheless! I did have some fun in this monster. I've been lucky enough to drive a lot of 1st/2nd Generation Bentley's Continental GT's in the last 2 years and Supersports are always the most fun I've had.

The speed is simply different to the standard GT. The acceleration is immense and it gets from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds and keeps going to 204mph which made it the fastest Bentley ever made. It has now been dethroned by the newest iteration of the Supersports which max's out at 209mph but I doubt many will ever notice reach those dizzying heights.

The brakes are carbon ceramic as standard and the Supersports comes with firmer suspension and a gearbox that can double downshift and change through the gears 50% quicker than the standard GT.

In short, it's a beast. A luxury, dechromed, 6.0L, W12 beast. A Continental GT that has been on a diet and had a facelift. A Bentley that I didn't feel too young for.

I would highly recommend...if you can afford the potential repair bills.
