Situated in northern Lake Huron, Mackinac Island is surrounded by beautiful blue waters, amazing homes and no cars. That's right, there are no automobiles allowed on the island. In this adventure, we are traveling by horse carriage and stopping at various points on the island. But first, we have to take the ferry to get to the island because it is only accessible by boat or private air craft. We spent time touring Fort Mackinac, the butterfly observatory, arch rock and the Grand Hotel, the gem of Mackinac Island. If you have ever wondered what you should do while in Michigan, Mackinac Island should be at the top of the list. Join us as we tour this island stuck in time and end the day with Mackinac fudge. You will not be disappointed.
