ECM timers are used by almost all heisters when doing long ECM rushes like The Big Bank, The Diamond, The White House, Framing Frame, Train Heist... or any ECM rush, really (even the short ones). Understandably, they are very convenient, but would it actually be feasible to coordinate such long rushes (with ECMs and PCMs) without using some sort of timer?
To clarify, the common alternative of placing an ECM / PCM when the previous one starts blinking doesn't work quite well: blinking starts at 8s left (out of 30s), wasting a lot of time...
