Nagarkot is decent drive from Kathmandu. You can climb to view tower but suggest you carry a pair of binoculars. Tower is steep with steel staircase. Everest can also be viewed from bottom of tower as well.You need to get there early as tower only takes roughly 10 people at a time. the sunrise is very beautiful we were lucky enough to have a cloudless sky and no fog. so you could see forever. This is one of the best place to watch sunset. We can watch sunset one side, Himalayan mountains opposite to settling Sun. It was just beautiful and feast to eyesight. As the sun sets Himalayan mountains look more lovely against the setting sun.Its really graciously beautiful place. We should take care of proper clothing depending on the weather report.
