In this episode of the television series A Good Goodbye, host Gail Rubin speaks with Medicaid trust expert Teresa Civello about ways to reduce funeral costs by donating one's body to science and by shopping around before there's a death in the family.
If you have no medical school in your town, you can make arrangements and sign paperwork with a national body donation service like MedCure ([ Ссылка ]). MedCure will pick up the body, utilize it for surgical training or other medical purposes, cremate the remains and return the cremains in a heart shaped urn within 2-4 weeks, all at no cost to the family.
The DVD "Making Sense of Final Arrangements and Funeral Costs" shows individuals know how to make phone calls to funeral homes and cemeteries and the questions to ask to arrange either a cremation or burial. Find out more about this inexpensive DVD (only $10) at [ Ссылка ]
