This last event of 2023 is a special one… Not just because it’s a Christmas market close to the holiday itself or because it’s basically in my own backyard, but mostly because it fell together with my 30th birthday!
My mom got me a button with the number ‘30’ on that I of course had to wear the entire day while being a vendor at the Christmas market hosted by the parent council of one of our local elementary schools called De Kleine Wereld (The Little World in English).
It was the perfect way to end the year concerning events, but also the perfect way to celebrate my birthday because a lot of my family and friends came to visit us at the market to wish me a happy birthday, some of the kids that were part of my very first author’s reading came by with their parents, and I of course had the company of my mom and Mathias Maho which was a lot of fun.
