The power shot (aka powershot rig) is a heavier version of a dropshot rig, which can be used to fish for bass with heavier line and baitcasting tackle. Brent Ehrler is a Major League Fishing bass tournament pro here to share tips & tricks for fishing this technique. A dropshot rig is usually a finesse technique, but when you beef it up and fish it with 14lb line and a baitcasting reel, it becomes a great shallow water bass fishing technique.
