I’ve officially been a self-published author since 2022, but my writing journey started long before that. It’s easy when you’re a new writer to compare yourself to others, especially when you’re still struggling to finish writing that first draft. With the new year approaching, I’ve been reminiscing on where I started vs where I am now, and I realized there was one thing that was crucial to me finishing that first book.
