Hello everybody its Foxy speaking and yes, sadly speaking of which the era of a class 313 electrical multiple unit run Southern Rail Network has sadly come to an end :-(. After nearly 50 years in working service, well realistically after 47 years of working service the class 313 electrical multiple unit trains have finally retired. Their farewell tour took place on Saturday 29th April 2023 just to say which was a rather emotionally moving but good day as we celebrate in remembrance their working years of service and the time all rail trainspotters got to really appreciate those trains as they are now more or less heritage property now for one to look back on and find out all about their interesting working history. But it really is sad they are no longer in working service as I was really most certainly hoping they would carry on working until about 2033 or 2040 something like that but apparently not really. Wonderful trains. They will certainly never be forgotten. I saw the 313-201 and 313-213 running the railtour at Brighton Station twice and Eastbourne Station once if I could dare explain where I saw them. The name of their tour was 'The Sussex Rambler' and for those of you who maybe confused as to what BLS stands for it stands for 'Branch Line Society' meaning this was technically a Branch Line Society run tour really. This is the imagery picture view video of 'The Southern class 313 Sussex Rambler Tour' in farewell honorary of the 313's retirement which takes place on Sunday 21st May 2023 the date the summer timetables for Southern Rail Network will be taking its enhanced commencements as we know it and all the rest of it :-). I had the pleasure of encountering an interesting rail enthusiast trainspotter who I have been hearing from on and off since around about 2018 but he has been following me apparently since 2016 and we had the real pleasure of meeting eachother for the first time :-). This rail enthusiast trainspotter is 'Hasnat' (UniversalTrainStudio) who has an excellent set of channelled contents comprised of various wonderful video generally based in the Surrey districts but does sometimes go trainspotting further afield :-). Towards the end of the railtour event itself when I saw it Brighton Station for a final time, as chance had it, I ran into some people who recognised me because they were close friends of one of my followers! :-). They friends with 'Libby' (Libby Whiteside) who sometimes follows my contents from time to time believe this or not but Libby was not at Brighton Station to see the railtour but its alright :-). So they subsequently posed for a photograph with me, had some friendly chats and managed to watch the railtours final departure from Brighton Railway Station with myself and all the other trainspotters who had come to Brighton to have seen the last of it :-).

I also had the additional pleasures of encountering some old friends of mine when seeing the class 313 farewell railtour at Brighton Railway Station :-). Those people were my friends 'Matt Burdett' (Trainmania100) and 'Arthur' (Arthur's Transport Videos) having seen them again for the first time in since 2019 which is certainly quite a great while ago now I must say :-). Please subscribe to their channelled contents everybody :-).
