Raisin Butter Cake Recipe

Ingredients
250g all-purpose plain flour (reserve a tablespoon for the raisins)
250g salted butter
180g granulated white sugar
4 large eggs
50g raisins (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Line the loaf pan with baking sheet.
3. Add a tablespoon of flour to the raisins and mix well. This will prevent the raisins from sinking to the bottom of the cake.
4. Beat the butter until smooth, then add sugar. Cream until light and fluffy.
5. Add in a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
6. Add the eggs in one at a time while beating.
7. Add the flour and raisins in and mix until combined.
8. Transfer batter into a loaf pan.
9. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
10. Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
