In this same place, some days ago, I tried a long range test in CE mode, but I wasn't pretty satisfied with the results (I lost the signal at 650 mt. when I was 89 mt height).
For this second try, I moved to FCC mode and to an higher height (198 mt.), to avoid interferences.
This time I was able to reach 1652 mts without any lag or error (this is not my presonal "record", as the day after i flew again in FCC up to 1780 mt.).
I have to say that I'm not a big fan of long distance with a drone, but I think I will keep flying in FCC to have a more secure and stable signal, even if I stay on a short range.
Here I was flying manually in S-mode at maximum speed.
