Had another great day on the Raritan Striper fishing with Dom. We marked a bunch of fish early and started the troll. Nothing. Whipped out the spoons and picked up our first fish which was a bonus keeper. Scattered marks had us trolling again. Couple hours and nothing. Made a run up the bay and finally found a nice pod of bunker. It was non stop action for 2 hours, picking up 4-5 bass each short drift. Fish were extremely aggressive. Using the the flutter spoons we would snag a bunker( not on purpose) and the bass would attack it immediately. Caught some on the Vudu shad and live lining also.
As much as we hated to leave them biting it was getting late and we had work the next day. Very long day, up at 2:30am, bed at 11pm.
Have to put in the time!!!!
Every trip we are learning more and more.
