Floaters are very common, and are usually nothing to worry about.
Usually they tend to sink out of your vision fast enough for them
not to bother you.
In rare occasions, new floaters and flashing lights can sometimes
be an indication of retinal detachment, a potentially serious
condition.
If you experience floaters suddenly, especially with flashes of light,
contact your local store or GP immediately.
