Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishnamohan quit the ruling party TDP today. He won as an independent in 2014 and later joined TDP.The interesting point is that Amanchi held prolonged talks with Chandrababu recently. But the latter could not persuade him to stay with the party, which might come as a big blow to TDP in 2019 elections.

Amanchi sent his resignation letter to the TDP chief earlier today. After submitting the resignation, Amanchi has met Jagan in Lotus pond and joined YCP.
