The Saguenay Fjord is more than 100 km in length, extending inland from Tadoussac to the tidal estuary of the Saguenay River around Chicoutimi. Glaciers exploited an ancient fault zone and gouged a fjord with deep sides. Whales come close to shore at Tadoussac, Ocean-going ships can reach deep inland. This video rounds up footage shot over the Thanksgiving Weekend of Oct 10-14 2014 from various locations on the western end of the fjord, Including Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, La Baie des Ha!
