LIVE High Definition (HD) broadcast of the Greek Orthodox Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom commemorating the 13th Sunday of Matthew.
The 13th Sunday of Matthew is the day that the Greek Orthodox Church commemorates the parable of a vineyard. The vineyard symbolizes God’s people and the tenants are representative of the religious leaders who rejected God’s messengers and who will ultimately reject God's Son and His son killed.
The Gospel reading for today is from Matthew 21:33-42 where Jesus reveals Himself as the expected Messiah through the parable of a householder who planted a vineyard. Today's Gospel is one of the 12 Gospels that are read during the Matins Service on the Wednesday and Friday of Holy Week.
Our Eastern Orthodox service is conducted mainly using English and Greek and streamed LIVE from Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, Florida.
Subscribers to YouTube.com/@SaintMark are invited to participate in our online public Live Chat during the service. We encourage you to introduce yourself by giving your name and the city/state/country from where you are worshiping with us.
