Glass Animals - The Making Of "Heat Waves" (Vevo Footnotes)
"The video is basically a love letter to live music and the culture surrounding it," says singer Dave Bayley. Evidently those subjects resonant lots of fans, because after a couple years, "Heat Waves" has taken its catchy vibe through a couple viral rides to clock in on almost 350 million views. Glass Animals are joy, and it's great to see their biggest song so far go through the roof. Their breakout hit is from their 2020 album 'Dreamland' and it reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. Its success also had a lot to do with the Animals' Best New Artist nomination at this year’s Grammys. Find out how they got a street full of East London residents to film the singer and his TV screens for one of the coolest videos ever in Footnotes.
