Measuring the smart way: Mitutoyo launches a newly designed wireless data transmission system “U-WAVE fit” for the transfer of Digimatic calipers’ and micrometers’ measuring results to a PC via a U-WAVE R receiver. This way, the data can directly be entered into Mitutoyo MeasurLink (SPC software). The transmission unit’s dimensions are smaller than the instrument’s display module’s size. Flat and lightweight, the transmitter is placed on the backside of the instrument and, thus, does not interfere with the measurement process.
