NC State took the big win over Wake Forest, 90-74. On a night honoring the 1983 national champions, it was a monster game from Jarkel Joiner, who scored 29 points on 12-20 shooting. DJ Burns got in on the scoring action as well, pouring in 21 points to go with his 5 rebounds. Tyree Appleby’s 19 points paced the Deacs in scoring.
