This improperly installed flooring was found during a home inspection! This kind of find can cost you thousands of dollars! When the tile flooring is installed correctly it has an even amount of thinset behind each tile! If it's not even or if there's not enough, it will make this hollow sound. This becomes a problem as it does not distribute shock force evenly if something's dropped on it, making it much more prone to cracking. The only way to fix this will be to remove the tile and apply the appropriate and even amount of thinset behind it.

In this neighborhood they had more than a dozen homes that had the same issue from the same tile installer! This is why you've always get a home inspection!
