The Charlotte Roller Girls, part of the nationwide women's roller derby circuit, have been a force in the community since the team's creation in 2006. Staying true to their slogan - "Fiercely Competitive. Community Focused." - the Charlotte Roller Girls partner with a different non-profit organization in the community each season to volunteer and donate a portion of all home game sales to the organization.
