The United States Embassy in Nigeria says it has interviewed more than 150,000 Nigerians who applied for visas to the country this year alone.

The head of US Embassy in Nigeria, Mr. David Greene revealed that this number was in addition to the 30,000 students who have sought visas from the US for study opportunities.

According to him, the demand for visa appointments outnumbers the supply.
