The ribbon cutting to open the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum had a little help from the Viking spacecraft in orbit at Mars. Michael Collins, Command Module Pilot on the Apollo 11 lunar landing mission, was the director of the Museum. This clip is narrated by former assistant director and World War II ace Donald Lopez.
