The spreading of oil in the marine environment depends primarily on MetOcean conditions. MIKE Powered by DHI's state-of-the-art 2D and 3D flexible mesh hydrodynamic models are fully integrated with MIKE 21/3 Oil Spill and include wind, wave and current data for greater accuracy. Calculate surface layer drift and the evaporation process to better understand the vertical dispersion of oil or even simulate oil drifting in ice-infested waters.
