Shinjuku Gyoen is one of the most popular parks in Tokyo, and a relaxing place to get away from the city for a few hours. Elegant Japanese gardens, ponds, bridges, trees and green spaces perfect for a picnic.

Shinjuku Gyoen is right by Shinjuku Station, the busiest station in the world, but you'd never know. It's such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the gardens.

If you ever get the chance to go to a Japanese bakery, I'd definitely recommend it! They have so many cute and delicious treats, like this amazing turtle melon pan. Honestly I wanted to try everything in there!
