Len Sutton's car skids and hits a barrier, he gets away unhurt. Mike Magill's car overturns and slides along upside down for 1,000 ft. Firemen rush across to car and spray foam over it to put out the fire. Elevated shot leading car driven by Roger Ward nearing the finish. Ward is flagged in the winner.
