As part of the celebrations to mark the centenary of the GWR 'Castle' class. The Didcot Railway Centre arranged to have four of the class together on the 4th March 2023, which is believed to be the first time since 1965. The participants were Didcot locos 4079 'Pendennis Castle' and 5051 'Earl Bathurst'. They were joined by 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' and 7029 'Club Castle' both from Tyseley. These two had arrived at Didcot on a rail tour from Birmingham.
