Drive up the Pacific Coast of Washington, and you enter the mysterious and misty world of the Olympic Peninsula.
October 2022, I spent a week alone traveling and camping up the western shores of the Olympic Mountains, from Pacific Beach to the Quinault Rainforest, to the world's largest spruce tree, to Kalaloch, to the Tree of Life, to Ruby Beach (and an unfortunate encounter with a whale...), to the UNESCO World Heritage Site & Biosphere Reserve Hoh Rainforest in the shadow of Mount Olympus, to the sea stacks of Rialto Beach, and to Sol Duc Falls before crossing to the metropolis of Seattle via the Bainbridge Ferry.
Enjoy. :)
