A 20 mph North wind and strong current flow is the recipe for disaster at my home lake of Pickwick. The Phoenix 921 Elite and Mercury Pro XS were put to the test, as I ran more than 110 miles round trip. Stingy cold front bass in tough conditions did not make it easy, but I managed to get a few key bites and give them a ride back to Florence, AL without damaging any equipment or spearing a wave!
