There will be no cost of living increase for public sector workers, but those earning under £100,000 will receive a tax-free lump sum of between £600 and £1,200, to be paid out this September.

The 2% COVID tax increase introduced last year has been halved.

The Chief Minister made the announcement during Tuesday morning’s Budget address.
