In this video, we will show you how to install the latest Mozilla Firefox, not as SNAP Package on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. As you may know, Firefox in Ubuntu 22.04 is a Snap package that runs in a sandbox. It’s easy to remove it. But when you try installing the deb package via apt, it just install the Snap version back
There are two ways we can install Firefox, not as SNAP Package on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. All of them accomplish the same thing, but you should pick the one that best suits you:
- Installing from the Mozilla PPA repository. And
- Installing from Firefox’s official website, Mozilla.org
