This is the PS4 version via a PS5.
Please note that this is segmented and edited. I include random encounters as I move through each area as the story requires. They are a part of the game and thus, the experience.

Notes
The outcome of negotiations are random. It is always a 50/50 chance when asked a question. It doesn’t matter what the question is, what the answers are or what kind of demon is asking them. It’s random. Completely random.

Regarding the name: In the drama CD for Nocturne, the Demi-fiend is given the name Naoki Kashima. I’m unsure of how official it is, but it’s more official than anything I might come up with and I’d rather avoid the immersion break of naming him after myself/channel.

In Shibuya, you are required to enter the Cathedral and Junk shop in order to proceed.

Here’s exactly what I did for the early game grind:
Step 1: Catch a Lilim, Shikigami and Apsaras to go with the Angel and Pixie I caught beforehand.

Step 2: Grind until Angel, Shikigami, Lilim, Pixie, Hua Po and Apsaras learn all of their skills. This was to maximize the number of skills I could transfer during fusion. I couldn’t find any info regarding how exactly the number of learned skills determines the number of skills able to be transferred, so I just learned all of their skills. I needed the Macca to buy the two Magatama in the Underpass, anyway.

Step 3: Fuse Angel and Pixie into Ame-no-Uzume. Fuse Shikigami and Lilim into Take-Minataka. Fuse Hua Po and Apsaras into Inugami.

Step 4: Grind until Inugami is level 16 for Fog Breath. Take-Minataka learns Dekaja at level 21, but that’s a pretty nasty grind at this point in the game. I didn’t buy the DLC.

Step 5: Even though Inugami is weak to force, I still obliterate Matador and then proceed to walk over a significant portion of the game.

While leveling the demons used for fusion, I only show Demi-fiend’s level gains and skill mutations, if I allow them.

Regarding the Labyrinth: I intend on doing it later in the game. No reason to do the first Kalpa immediately and I don’t intend on using Daisoujou. I visit for the cutscene explaining the menorahs and leave.
