This is our second attempt in order to bring boat autonomous technology in marine industry. Using Nereus boat, we focused in the industrial-grade development of a plug&play marine autopilot system for manned to unmanned vessel conversion. Also we tried to explore the current state of understanding of the safety, legal, technological and economic aspects of remote and autonomous ship operation.
