King Charles' Big 75th Birthday Celebration!

King Charles turns 75 today!

His Majesty will use the opportunity to launch the ‘Coronation Food Project’. The project aims to reduce food waste while also supplying those in need. The King will be on the front cover of the ‘Big Issue’ next week, and will discuss how he hopes the new project will help the homeless.

After launching the project, King Charles will join other 75-year-olds for a special party at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire. Like the King, the other 75-year-olds were all born in 1948, and are part of the post-war ‘baby boomers’ generation. The party will feature dancing and live music, and will be hosted by the King’s own charity, the ‘The Prince’s Foundation’.

The event will also celebrate 75 years since the founding of the NHS and the arrival of the Windrush, the most famous of many boats that carried people from the Caribbean to London.

The Royal Mint will also release a commemorative £5 coin for the occasion.

Later in the evening the King will apparently hold a private party at his London Clarence House residence for family and friends.

But it has been reported that Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have not been invited. A spokesperson for the couple said that there had been ‘no contact’ from the King about an invitation to any party.
