Built in 1865, part of Joseph Bazalgette's works for London's sewage system. Powered by four huge steam engines, one of which has been restored and is on film here. An historically important relic, both in terms of engineering, and the health of everyone living in London at that time. A fantastic achievement. Open to the public and in steam on just a few sundays a year.
